Regular contact through the Social & Safety Program not only offers an opportunity to discuss community news and events but also serves as a safety check for clients. Clients schedule appointments with the Echo Centre at their convenience, and volunteers are promptly notified. This service provides seniors who may be lonely or homebound with a friendly voice for conversation or companionship, at no cost. Clients are requested to notify the volunteer or office in advance if they will be unavailable during their scheduled Social & Safety call.

Through this program, we support clients by offering information on various issues and can connect them promptly with appropriate services or programs as needed. In cases where unforeseen circumstances arise and legal or professional assistance is necessary, we have the resources to facilitate contact with the relevant authorities to address the situation effectively.
